2018 Spring Summative SAGE Training for Principals and Test Coordinators


See attached memo for information regarding this mandatory training to be held on Feb 8th and 20th.

Principals’ Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the ASB. Due to the DOK training with Karen Hess last Tuesday, we won’t have a combined PD meeting. Principals will go directly to their respective rooms for level meeting. Please note the start times for each level.

Elementary – Auditorium
Start Time: 9:30 a.m.

Middle – PD 103
Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

High – PD 113
Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

No Breakfast will be served but a Christmas luncheon will be provided by “Simply the Best Catering.” See you there!

Principals:

Reminder that all new principals and new SCC Chairs need to attend one of the SCC Trainings for this year. The first training is this Wednesday, October 11th at Riverton High in the Media Center. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Save-the-Date:  Milestone Surveillance Software Training

Secondary Schools are invited to attend a training on the new Milestone surveillance software.  The same class will be held at 2 different dates and times.  Principals, hall monitors, school resource officers, or the appropriate designee are welcome.  Please invite them.

Each training will be approximately 90 minutes and will be held in the Presentation Room at the Auxiliary Services Building.

Incident Command System (ICS) Annual Refresher Course

Please register in JPLS (refer to course #101255). You will receive licensure points. This course is voluntary, but highly recommended for both current and new Administrators. See flyer below for more details.

Goalview training for Administrators only will be held at the District Office in room 213 on September 25 from 9:30-10:30 am. or 1:30-2:30 pm. Please email Karl McKenzie to register at karl.mckenzi@jordandistrict.org and bring a laptop.

Goalview training for Special Educators (Administrators are welcome to attend) will be held at the District Office in room 202 every Monday in September from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Attached are all forms and documents distributed at the annual Administrative Leadership Conference held August 3-4, 2017

Don’t forget the annual Administrative Leadership Conference scheduled for August 3-4, 2017 at Elk Ridge Middle School. On Thursday, August 3rd a light breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. with the conference beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. at Elk Ridge.

The activity on Friday, August 4th will begin at Mulligans Golf and Games. Assignments for the activity will be emailed in the next few days.
