The January Assistant Principal meetings will be held on January 12 (8:00-11:00am) and January 19 (8:00-11:00am). All meetings will be held in-person at the JATC-S. All assistant principals and intern assistant principals are invited. A beverage service will be provided, beginning at 7:30 am at each of the meetings. As a reminder you only need to attend one of the sessions offered per month. Both sessions will provide the same information. As part of this year's Administrative Leadership Conference on August 2nd, we will be participating in several wellness activities that include options for walking, volleyball, yoga, and more.

2022-23 Annual Administrative Leadership Conference

You are invited to attend the annual Jordan School District Administrative Leadership Conference, “Leaders These Days” scheduled on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Mountain Creek Middle, 5325 W. Bingham Rim Road, in South Jordan. Additional parking is available at the neighboring church to the west and at Golden Fields Elementary.

The conference will follow a full-day format. We will begin in the auditorium at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday after a light breakfast, which will be provided starting at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided, and the meeting will adjourn by 3:45 p.m. Interns assigned to your building are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Kyla Robertson (801-567-8186 or kyla.robertson@jordandistrict.org) no later than July 22nd if you have an intern that will be attending so they can be included in the breakfast and lunch count.

Plan on bringing an electronic device in order to access the agenda and conference materials.

Appropriate dress for the conference is business casual. We look forward to seeing you!

If you haven't had a chance to sign-up please go in and do it today. The count is going to the caterer tomorrow, June 10th!

The assistant principal meeting will be held June 16th at the JATC-S from 8:30-12:30 pm. A beverage service will be served starting at 8:00 am and lunch will be provided. May School Psychologist, School Psychology Interns, Elementary Counselor Meeting

An in-person meeting has been scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2022, from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. at a different location, Jordan Applied Technology Center-South (JATC-South) (12723 S. Park Avenue {2080 W}). Superintendent Anthony Godfrey is providing us with lunch on that day and would like to address our group promptly at 12:00 noon. I would appreciate you being on time for him. Lisa Stillman, school psychologist at Monte Vista Elementary and Naomi Varuso, school psychologist at Copper Canyon Elementary will provide us with a presentation on Wellness Rooms.

Rebecca Cramer, school psychologist for Autism Assessment, will provide us with a presentation on autism in girls. In addition, we want you to provide you with some time to complete the focus group we started in March, 2022 so that we can get your input re: meeting your needs and future directions, so please come prepared with your ideas.

Part-time Staff:  I would appreciate it if you could adjust your schedules in order to attend this meeting.
