Updates for 9-12th Grade RISE-tested Courses
Principals are encouraged to send this information to teachers of RISE-tested courses.
USBE has communicated the following information regarding the timeline for the release of testing resources for the 9-12th grade RISE-tested courses on the Utah RISE Portal:
- RISE Blueprints – Available now under the Resources tile on the RISE Portal
- Performance Level Descriptors – November 16, 2026
- Secondary Math 2/ELA 9 & 10 Benchmarks – January 19, 2026
- Science Benchmarks – No timeline yet
- ELA, Math and Science Interims – No timeline yet
Secondary Math 1 resources and benchmarks are already available on the RISE Portal.
Middle and high schools should take note of the different dates for the end of the RISE summative testing window:
- 9-12th Grades: April 5-May 14, 2027
- 7-8th Grades: April 5-May 28, 2027
