Do you have a math teacher whose classroom other teachers should get to see? Applications for Model Mathematics Teachers (MMTs) for the 2027-28 school year are now open.
• What MMTs do: Open their classroom doors for colleague observations across the district.
• What they get: a stipend and district-level recognition of their practice.
• What it takes: an application and a classroom observation by the Secondary Math Team.
The observation rubric is published up front, so candidates know exactly what's being looked for.

Applications are due December 15, 2026. Selected teachers and their administrators will be notified by the end of January.
Please share this with your math faculty. Teachers have been invited to apply as well via email.
