Jordan School District is seeking a Director of Special Education to provide strategic leadership and comprehensive program management. This role involves overseeing policy implementation, ensuring Federal/State IDEA compliance, and managing talent and budgets. The Director will also spearhead professional development while fostering strong collaboration between staff, parents, and external agencies.
The successful candidate will have:
- A professional educator license in "School Leadership"
- Prior administration experience preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- An excellent knowledge of State/Federal rules/regulation related to IDEA
